Places to visit
Mörbisch’s neighbouring village. Storks can be seen here on chimney pots. It is also known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, because of a TV-series called “Winzerkönig” (roughly translated “the king of the wine growers”) which was filmed here between 2005 and 2009.
Capital of Burgenland. Josef Haydn once lived here and his music is played on a regular basis in the castle Esterhazy. Always worth visiting. (about 20 mins by car)

A beautiful baroque castle with fabulous gardens. Classical concerts and exhibitions can be heard and seen here. (about 1 hour by car)

Go back in time to 1890 (1 hour by car, but can also be reached by bike, just take the bike ferry and then cycle through National Park Neusiedler See – Seewinkel)

Lake Neusiedl National Park
Marvel the unique flora and fauna in our area! Visit the National Park with a guide or alone. This is all just a stone’s throw away from Mörbisch.
Go for a day to the Austrian capital (about 1 hour by car)
The other (Hungarian) capital of Burgenland (about 20 minutes by car).
Capital of Slovakia. The old town is very charming to visit. (about 1 ½ hours by car)
is on the bike route around Lake Neusiedl on the Hungarian side of the boarder. You can also reach this delightful castle by car. (about 45 minutes by car)
UNESCO World Cultural Heritage
The region around Lake Neusiedl was declared a World Cultural Heritage site in 1993. We are extremely proud of this!
Enjoy a day out with the kids at this theme park. There is something for the whole family here; great kids attractions, white-knuckle roller coaster. (about 15 mins by car or 12 km away)
